    FAIE Lecturers Attend an International Scientific Conference

    The International Conference on Business and Finance (ICBF) is held annually at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. It provides an opportunity for scientists and researchers from both domestic and international institutions to share ideas and research on issues related to Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Business Law, Economic Law, etc. The conference gathers numerous reputable scholars and researchers from prestigious universities around the world. Research papers accepted at the conference have the opportunity to be published in major and reputable journals indexed in ISI/SCOPUS.

    On 8 and 9 August 2024, PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Head of The Faculty of Administration International Economics (FAIE) – together with PhD candidate Luu Ngoc Liem – Head of the Marketing Department – and PhD candidate Hoang Thi Thanh Chung – lecturer of the Marketing Department – attended the conference, followed the authors’ research presentations. This served as a stepping stone for them to better prepare for their upcoming doctoral dissertations, as well as to learn about the procedures and requirements for publishing in international journals.

    Each year, the conference attracts more than 200 research papers, of which over 100 are accepted for publication in the conference proceedings and presentation at the event. The keynote speakers presenting at the conference are Professors and Doctors of Philosophy with strong academic reputations from leading universities worldwide.

    Many speakers are Professors from renowned universities in countries such as the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Japan, and Korea. In addition, ICBF is honored to be supported and endorsed by Editors-in-Chief and editorial board members of journals indexed in ISI/Scopus. Notable speakers at ICBF over the years include Professor Daniel Ladley, Professor Gary Campbell, Professor Muhammad Shahbaz, Professor Jeong-Yoo Kim, Professor Siong Hook Law, Professor Sung Y. Park, Professor Farhad T. Hesary, Professor Aviral Tiwari, Professor Peter Morgan, etc.
