Dong Nai, a province renowned for its high-quality agricultural products, has recently made its mark at the 2024 “Women’s Innovative Entrepreneurship and Green Transformation” Competition with a highly promising project by Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, advised by PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Head of The Faculty of Administration International Economics (FAIE).

The project introduced two distinctive products rich in local character:
Roasted Five-Element Bean Powder, incubated according to Yin-Yang and the Five Elements philosophy: Made from the freshest beans cultivated using traditional farming methods in Dong Nai, this five-element bean powder is not only a nutritious product but also embodies the essence of Vietnamese culinary culture.
Lamoi Grass Jelly Powder – Pro Pectin 1.5 times higher: The Lamoi grass jelly ingredient is grown in nutrient-rich areas of Dong Nai. Through a modern processing method, the product retains its high nutritional content and distinctive, pleasant flavor.

Outstanding values of the project:
Leveraging local strengths: The project maximizes Dong Nai’s abundant and high-quality raw materials to create distinctive products bearing a Vietnamese brand identity.
Contributing to socio-economic development: The project not only generates employment opportunities but also enhances the value of Dong Nai’s agricultural products and promotes rural economic development.
Environmental protection and sustainable development: The project’s production process complies with strict environmental protection standards, contributing to the development of a green, clean, and beautiful Dong Nai.
With its initial achievements, Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen’s project has opened a new direction for Dong Nai’s agriculture, helping bring the province’s distinctive products closer to consumers both domestically and internationally.
