Ms. Le Thi Thai, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women’s Union, stated that in implementing Government Project 939 on Supporting Women’s Entrepreneurship for the Period 2017–2025, and carrying out the Resolution of the 13th National Women’s Congress, since 2017 the Women’s Union at all levels across the province has organized numerous activities to promote the entrepreneurial spirit among its members and women.
These activities include communication efforts to raise awareness among members and women about the Party’s guidelines and policies, and the State’s laws and regulations on entrepreneurship and business development; and about the role and position of women in economic development. Support for women’s innovative entrepreneurship has been provided through training programs to enhance knowledge and capacity in entrepreneurship and business administration; capital support; and assistance in establishing collective economic models led by women. In particular, the Provincial Women’s Union has annually maintained the organization of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day and the Women’s Entrepreneurship Competition.

The startup sectors have become increasingly diverse, with many projects developing products from local resources and having the potential to participate in the province’s One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program.
At the final round, 12 authors/teams with projects selected for the final presented their projects before the Jury Panel and answered questions raised by the judges related to their projects.
At the conclusion of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to contestant Nguyen Thi Le Huyen from Phu Binh Ward (Long Khanh City) for the project on the production and business of herbal bantam chickens. Additionally, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 6 Consolation Prizes were presented to the remaining authors/teams.
