[FAIE: International Business] Lac Hong International Business Students Inspired by a Leading Industry Expert

On the morning of 14 November 2024, the academic atmosphere at Lac Hong University became more dynamic than ever as the International Business major, The Faculty of Administration International Economics, organized an engaging thematic seminar entitled “Guidelines for Implementing Franchising and M&A.” The session took place at Hall I209, Campus 6 of the University, attracting a large number of students.

The special guest speaker of the program was Mr. Le Hoang Dung, Director of Donafarm Joint Stock Company. With extensive experience in the business field, Mr. Dung provided students with practical and valuable knowledge about franchising and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He delivered a detailed presentation on the actual implementation process based on practical experience in franchising operations and M&A activities, as well as the benefits and challenges that enterprises may encounter when engaging in these transactions. During the session, students enthusiastically participated in discussions, sharing areas of practical knowledge they found lacking and receiving dedicated responses.

Through the seminar, students gained a clearer understanding of the important role of franchising and M&A in expanding business scale and strengthening market position. At the same time, they were equipped with essential knowledge and skills to confidently participate in such activities in the future.

The thematic seminar left positive impressions on students. It was not only an opportunity to acquire knowledge but also a valuable occasion for networking and connecting with industry experts.
