On 5 March 2025, students from the 2023 and 2024 cohorts had the opportunity to participate in a highly valuable field trip to MobiFone Region 2 Company. This activity was an important component of the training program, aimed at enabling students to gain practical exposure, broaden their understanding of telecommunications and information technology, and particularly explore the topic “Application of AI in Marketing and Online Marketing at MobiFone.”

The field trip was organized through collaboration between the Marketing major of The Faculty of Administration International Economics and MobiFone Region 2 Company. Early in the morning, students gathered and traveled to the company’s headquarters at MM18 Truong Son Street, Ward 14, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed by the company’s leadership representatives and experienced experts. The company representative delivered an overview of MobiFone’s development history, strategic vision, and advanced technologies currently implemented in the field of digital marketing.

As part of the visit, students had the opportunity to learn about the applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in marketing at MobiFone. Experts presented how AI supports customer data analysis, advertising campaign optimization, personalization of user experiences, and automation of customer service processes. In addition, students were introduced to AI-powered digital marketing tools, such as intelligent chatbots, product recommendation systems, and customer behavior analytics.

In particular, the presentation on Online Marketing attracted significant interest from students. Speakers from MobiFone shared insights into leveraging digital platforms to reach customers, optimizing advertising across social media channels, and developing digital branding strategies. Students also had the opportunity to discuss digital marketing trends and the importance of Big Data in enhancing the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.

Beyond professional knowledge, students also listened to practical insights from industry experts regarding career opportunities and the essential skills required to work in digital marketing and telecommunications. Questions related to recruitment needs, internship opportunities, and career development at MobiFone were thoroughly addressed.
This event was not merely a field trip but also served as motivation for students to strengthen their academic pursuits and clarify their career orientation. Nguyen Thi Khanh Linh, a student from the 2023 cohort, shared: “This trip truly broadened our horizons. We not only learned about technology but also gained valuable knowledge from industry experts. I hope to have the opportunity to intern and work at MobiFone in the future.”
At the conclusion of the visit, the company awarded field trip certificates to all participating students, recognizing their active engagement in the program. These certificates not only serve as valuable additions to students’ personal portfolios but also motivate them to continue enhancing their knowledge and skills in digital marketing.
The field trip to MobiFone Region 2 once again reaffirmed the vital role of collaboration between enterprises and the University in training high-quality human resources to meet the demands of the labor market in the digital era.
