Everyone has beautiful memories and unforgettable stories. Each of us is like a notebook filled with diverse colors and countless stories. Those pages are filled with emotions, and when we recall them, we often smile at our past and the paths we have traveled. Ms. Thu Phuong, a student of the 2014 cohort majoring in Business Administration, Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics, shares similar sentiments. When she recalls her student days—with so many memories alongside friends and lecturers—it was indeed a beautiful period of youth and aspirations.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Phuong was a student of class 14QT111, majoring in Business Administration under the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics, Lac Hong University. She currently works as a Corporate Relationship Officer at Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank – Dong Nai Branch. After graduating in 2019, she experienced both advantages and numerous challenges; however, she overcame them to attain her current position. In 2021, despite the complicated and difficult pandemic situation, she remained dedicated to her work and successfully fulfilled the targets assigned by her superiors. She was awarded the title “Grassroots Emulation Fighter” by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank. This was a great joy and a source of motivation that strengthened her commitment to her career.

During her studies, she benefited from acquiring extensive specialized knowledge from experienced lecturers and receiving valuable life advice. She also had opportunities to interact, learn, and build friendships with peers from various provinces across the country. In addition, the University leadership and lecturers of the Faculty of Business Administration created favorable conditions for Ms. Phuong and other students to visit enterprises and receive career orientation guidance before graduation. Coming from Binh Thuan to study in Dong Nai, living away from her family, she initially faced difficulties navigating unfamiliar roads and lacking acquaintances.

Ms. Phuong shared: “For me, the four years as a student at Lac Hong University were a blessing because they represent a beautiful part of my youth. Here, I was able to study, participate in activities, and be truly myself. During my studies, I was fortunate to be nominated as a member of the Faculty Youth Union Executive Committee, working with lecturers and senior students to organize and participate in Faculty activities. After each program, I gained more cherished memories and preserved precious moments of my youth. I also joined the University’s cultural performance team, so I participated in most University activities. Living far from my family no longer felt difficult because I was surrounded by people who were like family, sharing joys and challenges in both study and life. The University always places students’ interests first, investing in modern facilities and creating the best learning environment. For students, the period before graduation is truly stressful due to concerns about securing stable employment and adapting to working environments. However, for students of Lac Hong University, the University accompanies and commits to supporting employment aligned with their majors after graduation. Students are offered field trips and internships at reputable enterprises partnered with the University. I am always proud to be a student of Lac Hong University and grateful to the University leadership and lecturers for giving me such a meaningful and memorable student life.”

Lac Hong University provided Ms. Phuong with valuable lessons and unforgettable memories that cannot be fully described in a few lines. Her sharing demonstrates that she is an outstanding alumna who always remembers her University and lecturers with deep gratitude. Over time, she has proactively returned to the University to introduce services of the bank where she works, connect with various faculties to share knowledge, and bring students to experience practical activities at the bank. Providing students with opportunities to access, broaden knowledge, and undertake field experiences at enterprises is truly meaningful. As a former Youth Union and Student Association officer with enthusiasm and dedication, Ms. Phuong has connected with the Faculty Youth Union – Student Association to create activities and platforms for students to practice, interact, and participate in sports such as football and volleyball. It is fortunate that after graduation and employment in Bien Hoa City, she has had opportunities to return to the University to contribute to the Faculty’s training programs and activities that bring value to students. Associated with LHU from 2014 to 2019, Ms. Phuong is proud to have been a student of Lac Hong University and proud of that beautiful period of her life.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of LHU and the 25th anniversary of the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics, Ms. Thu Phuong respectfully wishes lecturers good health, students excellent academic achievements and career success, and the University continued prosperity and development.
