Toan Cau Trading Link Co., Ltd. Awards Scholarships to Students.

Every year, Lac Hong University warmly welcomes a new generation of freshmen. To foster connection and engagement between the University and students, as well as to recognize and commend the positive contributions of specialized clubs and students’ academic efforts, on the morning of October 1, Lac Hong University in general and the Faculty of Business Administration – International Economics (FAIE) in particular organized the Freshman Welcome Ceremony for the 2022 cohort.

The program was honored to welcome:

• PhD Lam Thanh Hien – President of the University

• PhD Nguyen Van Tan – Dean of FAIE

• MSc Ta Thi Thanh Huong – Vice Dean of FAIE

• Mr. Le Quyet Thang – Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association; Director of Tacom Group Investment Consulting Co., Ltd.

• Mr. Le Kim Khanh – Head of Business Department, Toan Cau Trading Link Co., Ltd.

• Mr. Kim Kyung Sig – TTC Korean Language Training Center

• Ms. Dang Nguyen Thanh Hoa – Director of MB Bank, Tam Hiep Transaction Office

Along with department heads, lecturers, staff members, and nearly 500 students attending the program.

At the event, freshmen were introduced to the Faculty’s leadership, academic programs, academic advisors, extracurricular activities, and student clubs. In addition, lecturers thoroughly addressed students’ questions to provide essential information and create a comfortable mindset throughout their academic journey. Notably, the Faculty connected with Mr. Le Kim Khanh – Head of Business Department at Toan Cau Trading Link Co., Ltd.

In a vibrant and friendly atmosphere, freshmen were introduced to their academic advisors and received meaningful gifts from the Faculty. It is hoped that new students will quickly adapt to the new environment, develop effective study plans, and apply essential student skills to create colorful and inspiring journeys throughout their youth.

Enterprises play a vital role in the success of the program by sponsoring gifts, preferential policies, and especially scholarships that provide students with additional motivation to overcome life’s difficulties. On this occasion at LHU, Mr. Le Kim Khanh extended meaningful support to FAIE students through valuable scholarships. Specifically, Toan Cau Trading Link Co., Ltd. awarded scholarships worth VND 5,000,000 to students facing difficult circumstances. This meaningful contribution reflects the company’s care for the younger generation, aiming to help reduce financial burdens on families. It also serves as great encouragement for students to continue striving for academic excellence, enhancing their knowledge, and contributing to the development and protection of Vietnam. Although the scholarship amount may not cover all expenses, it provides meaningful support for students who work part-time to pay tuition and living costs.

The Freshman Welcome Festival brought diverse emotions and memorable experiences. October 1, 2022 marked the first gathering of FAIE freshmen and served as a practical playground for students to pursue their passion for business at the Market Place. Here, students experienced business activities in a simulated environment, laying the foundation for future entrepreneurial aspirations. Notably, the presence of the Meet More booth provided lecturers and students with opportunities to try products free of charge and purchase them at promotional prices. Through participating in booth activities, students also learned how enterprises launch new products to the market, as well as pricing and marketing strategies.

On behalf of FAIE students, the Economic Law Club sincerely thanks Lac Hong University and FAIE for providing opportunities to connect with enterprises, enhance practical knowledge, bridge the gap between theory and practice, and better understand employers’ recruitment needs. This serves as a strong foundation and new step forward not only for senior students but also for freshmen to develop practical skills and professional experience.
