On 11 December 2023, 20 national startup projects presented their project results before the Judging Council. Among them, the project titled “Design and Manufacturing of Multi-Application Fuel Cells” by a team of authors from Lac Hong University was ranked among the top 10 outstanding projects.
The project “Design and Manufacturing of Multi-Application Fuel Cells” has been implemented since 2013, undergoing multiple stages of research, development, and practical application. The project utilizes fuel cell technology, a new, modern, and environmentally friendly technology.

Fuel cells are a type of battery that uses hydrogen and oxygen to generate a DC power source. This power source can be applied to all electrical devices, ranging from unmanned aerial vehicles and urban model vehicles to mini submarines. To date, the project has successfully applied fuel cells to the three types of devices mentioned above. The team has mastered the technology and production process and has gained an understanding of the Vietnamese market.

The project has significant commercial potential and contributes to global goals on sustainable development and the use of green energy sources. The team is currently seeking cooperation and investment from enterprises with vision and commitment to environmental protection.
The inclusion of Lac Hong University’s project “Design and Manufacturing of Multi-Application Fuel Cells” among the top 10 national startup projects is a great honor for the University. This achievement serves as evidence of the efforts and creativity of young Vietnamese scientists in the field of green energy.
